So my name is Alicia Kelly, and I was brought to this church through Karima. Karima has a Facebook group, a prayer group, where she prays with us daily at night. She invited me to the church to check out the church, and this is actually my second time coming. After the church service,the church service, she usually has the ladies from the prayer group go to a meeting afterwards. One of the ladies brought a friend from the prayer group, and she was complaining about pain in her body. So instantly Karima was like, we're just going to pray for her.
So she was like, I want to wait for everyone to be done with what they're doing, eating or whatever. I want everyone to witness this. We want to pray for her together. So I sat down next to Karima, and I sat down next to Evelyn, who was in need of prayer because her body was aching. And Karima just basically started praying, and she said, watch this. I looked at the lady's feet. I looked at Evelyn's feet, and Karima and I both was able to witness that one leg was shorter than the other. Now Evelyn, she didn't even know.
She said, I didn't know that one leg was shorter than the other, but I was able to see that one leg was shorter than the other. And Karima was like, look at this. And I saw it with my own eyes. Instantly, as soon as Karima started praying, I saw it gradually even out, right before my eyes. And I'm like, I've never seen anything like that right before my eyes. I know that God is faithful. I know that He heals, and He tells us to pray over our bodies, but I've never seen it before my eyes.
So she had Evelyn get up and do some things that she couldn't do before. Evelyn bent down and started walking around, and she was able to do what she couldn't do before. So I'm like, wait a minute. My son needs healing as well. My son, my eight -year -old son, he was born without any arches in his feet. He's been going through pain to the point where if he walks too long, he's crying about his feet. We went to Disney World last week, and I had to put him on my back, my eight -year -old on my back, because he was in so much pain.
My mother and I, we were planning to take him to a foot doctor in Kennesaw next week to maybe have his feet looked at. And I'm thinking that they're probably going to have to break his feet and get surgery. But my spirit didn't agree with that. My spirit did not agree with that because I'm like, an eight -year -old does not need to be going through surgery. So I told Karima, I said, hey, can we pray for my son's feet? Instantly, she said, yeah, bring them over here. She had him pull the shoes off, and instantly she prayed to have arches in his feet.
And instantly, it looked like it was a layer of fat over his feet. There was no definition at all. Instantly, the fat layer that was covering the arch or the arch that God created started to form right before my eyes, right before my eyes. Instantly, it didn't take 10 minutes. It didn't take three hours instantly. And I had never seen that. And I'm so thankful because God is faithful, but he wants us to see that it doesn't have to take forever. Instantly, a miracle happened before my eyes, and I'm so grateful. I just want to thank God that because of the prayer, because he healed my baby's body.
